Kirsty Ryder - Painted Witch Designs
Hello I’m Kirsty
I create detailed pen and ink illustrations as well as a range of handmade crafts and magical charms.
My artwork is inspired by nature, folklore, fantasy and all things relating to witchcraft and the occult.
As a lifelong Pagan witch my spirituality and practise heavily inform my artwork, weaving magic into every piece.
I have a black cat named Nanook. On my Friday afternoons in the shop I’m always drinking blackcurrant juice or peppermint tea. I love working on the little details of my illustrations, and researching and crafting new spell bottles and charms.

Hi I’m Rory
Deaf and Autistic but always Artistic!
I’ve been working with pewter for 5 years now. I like finding new things to cast in sand I don’t like doing the same thing again…but if people love it, then I need to.
I love Inside No 9, Wallace and Gromit, Race Across The World, Star Trek, Fantasy and Cosy Crime.
I have a dog called Cookie and she is very clever, just like Gromit.
I am currently inspired by Southern Africa and I am planning a travel adventure.

Sabrina Withers - FiftyEleven
Hi, I’m Sabrina
I blend woodwork and pyrography to create fun and practical items and artwork. I believe that just because something is practical, doesn’t mean it can’t also be pretty.
I have always loved trees and let the shape and texture of the wood dictate my art, alongside inspiration from medieval marginalia and other historic work. I try to make sure I use as much of the wood as possible making ever smaller things.
My flock of chickens, with their own Instagram, inspire and delight me with their antics and curiosity when they are allowed to enter the workshop.

Dave Atkin - Woodwyrm
Hello I’m Dave
For over two decades, I’ve been bringing wood to life, officially turning my passion into a business nine years ago.
My work is deeply inspired by history and mythology—ranging from the folklore of the Green Man to the intricate dragons I love to carve today. When I was introduced to green woodworking, I was instantly hooked on the art of spoon carving.
As a longtime historical reenactor with a deep love for the Viking age, I specialise in crafting authentic replicas of Viking spoons and bowls, meticulously based on archaeological finds including from the Oseberg ship burial, amongst others.
