I am an artist based in York. Arts and crafts have always been a part of my life, but I found my true passion in pyrography (wood burning).
Colourful things lift me up all the time. So, I prefer to paint the wood after burning. I use watercolour, gouache as well as wood paint and finally apply spray varnish to protect it.
I am inspired by York architecture, Yorkshire nature and countryside as well as traditional Turkish ceramic patterns and mandala patterns.
